2/19: Last Calligraphy Meetup @ TC Art Shop: Lettering Challenge #6

Hello everyone!

Gathering all calligraphy, lettering, journaling, and bullet journaling enthusiasts in the South Bay and beyond! In these meetups, I want to focus on bringing together a community of local creatives who has an interest in calligraphy, lettering, typography, drawing, journaling, and more. ALL levels and experience are welcome. No really. ALL LEVELS. 

For the sixth and LAST meetup at the TC Art Shop, we have yet another lettering/calligraphy challenge: see below. I hope this exercise will help inspire and spark our creativity, but also guide us to practice and help us grow in our lettering/calligraphy journey. 

Lettering Challenge: (If you don't have time to create this before the meetup, you are more than welcome to create it in the meetup)

In the spirit of Traveling Calligrapher and celebrating the store's exisitence. Letter in your own style using any art mediums a place you would like to visit or going to visit this year or in the next 2 years. If you have an art notebook, you're welcome to draw it in your notebook. If not, a 5x7 size paper is perfectly fine.

The challenge is to have consistency in the style of letters throughout the whole word. Spacing between each letter is consistent and it's elligable!  

What to expect at the meetup: 

- we will have refreshments, drinks, and bites 

- we'll present our work

- feel free to bring your favorite tools to work on your project

- we'll have an informal q&a

- come mingle!
