Are you looking to start off the new year well?  Do you want to learn a new skill or upgrade one you’ve just begun?  Do you want to start a new hobby or passion project?  If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then you’ll enjoy this truly unique course.

Spend a morning with Christine of Squinkleletters, a certified teacher and lettering artist visiting from Toronto, Canada, as she helps you develop a new skill AND a new mindset.  Together, you will make strides in becoming the best version of you in 2020.

The first part of the workshop will be devoted to learning and practising hand-lettering foundations.  Christine will teach you the basics (e.g., stances, strokes, and shapes) of using brush and monoline pens to draw letters.  You will master how to write your own name, as well as common phrases and greetings, in several different styles.

The second half of the learnshop will be focused on using your new lettering skills to do some mindful journalling.  Using worksheets and activities that she employs in her own school classes, Christine will guide you through various strategies that will encourage you to celebrate moments, establish goals, recognize patterns, and create meaningful memories.  You will leave the workshop feeling accomplished and ready to make 2020 your year.
